3 tin cans
Safety can opener
Craft paint
Painter’s tape
Photos of your child, cut into silhouettes
Letter stickers
Decoupage glue

1. After you've used a “safe edge” can opener or sanded the tin can tops so there aren't any sharp edges (a grown-up-only step!), have your kid coat the cans with craft paint. For best results, do two coats—with a few minutes for drying time in between.

2. When cans are completely dry, use painter’s tape to block off sections and then paint an accent color on top. Let dry and then remove the tape.

3. Place letter stickers in the center of each can. Glue photos onto the cans and apply a top coat of decoupage glue to seal the design.

4. Let cans dry for two hours. Then, fill with cool office supplies for dad to enjoy!
