Hint: Many of them show just how much they care about you, too

One of the best rewards of parenting is having your child tell you how great you are and how much they love you. Here, we've rounded up some of the most heart-melting quotes out of the mouths of your babes. Get the tissues out!

1. "One day, when I had a heavy cold and cough, I was lying on the couch because I felt so out of it. My [toddler] came over, patted my arm, and said, 'Okay, mommy, sleep.' Then she started rubbing my feet because she had seen my husband do that in the past." -Michelle

2. "When my oldest son was about 3 years-old, I asked him who his favorite superhero was-and he said, 'You are, Momma!' " -Kristen

3. "My 2-year-old daughter started grabbing my hand this week, swinging it, and saying 'Best friend, best friend.'" -Phylicia

4. "My four-and-a-half year-old said, 'Mommy, you're mommy and daddy.' When I asked him what he meant, he said, 'Cause you love me and snuggle me and you're strong like Batman and play with me.' I'm a single mom trying to play both parts as best as I can-and it's worth all the stress and exhaustion in the end for him to think of me as that. It makes me push myself harder every day." -Samantha

5. "When my son was sick with a bad cold and I was rubbing vapor rub on his chest, he looked at me with his big brown eyes and said, 'Mommy, you're my best friend.' My heart melted and I couldn't help but tear up a little bit." -Ana

6. "I was putting on my makeup the other day and my son asked me, 'Why are you putting makeup on when you're already pretty?'" -Jackie

7. "My 3-year-old son has autism and is primarily non-verbal, but I'll never forget when he kissed me and told me, 'Loouve you, Ma.' I had basically lost hope he'd ever say 'Love you' or even 'Mom' or 'Ma,' so it was like the sky opened up and a beam of light shined on me." -Melissa

8. "Every day, I tell my little girl that she's the most beautiful girl in the world. One day, I asked her, 'Who's the most beautiful girl in the world?' and she said, 'You, Momma!" -Jennifer

9. "I remember sitting with my daughter in the park on a beautiful day. We were having a small picnic and just talking and looking around. Out of the blue, she said, 'Thank you, mommy, for giving me a beautiful life.' I will never forget that day." -Sarah

10. "My 4-year-old was getting ready for bed a few nights ago, and after taking off his glasses, he got really close to my face and whispered, 'Momma, you are as cute as a banana pie.'" -Lacey
