Do twins cut teeth at the same time?

My daughter, who is a twin, doesn't have any teeth yet. She and her brother were born six weeks early. My son has four teeth so far, but he did not get them until he was 11 months old.
A:
When it comes to teeth coming in, twins don't always follow the same timeline. They may also have a different bite, different shade of teeth and different shape. There are studies that show that baby boys and girls have different eruption schedules. What's more, premature children's teeth may erupt later than if they had been carried to term.
