Our Think & Learn toys are for a new generation of learners. Kids learn the most when they’re having a great time playing, making things up, and figuring things out. So we developed these toys to be really fun to play with and build the skills outlined by the Partnership for 21st Century Learning (P21), that give kids the best possible start. 21st Century Learning is about the 4Cs – Communication, Collaboration, Creativity and Critical Thinking, plus the 3Rs – Reading, ‘Riting and ‘Rithmetic.
Communication – Asking questions like “Where do you think turtles live?” “What color is that pillow?” or “What rhymes with green?” helps your kids build communication skills.
Collaboration – How should we tell Code-a-pillar™ to get around the table? What happens when you play hide-and-seek with the Smart Scan Word Dash disks? You’re teaching kids to work together.
Critical Thinking – Looking at things in a new way – like figuring out how to get Code-a-pillar to go tag your brother– is teaching critical thinking skills.
Creativity – When kids mix colors together into new ones for Chameleon to identify, they’re growing creativity. Same story when they make up stories with Spell & Speak Sea Turtle or take Code-a-pillar on an adventure to a new world.
When kids are playing and exploring the world around them, they’re learning how to learn and how to think. When they’re having fun with friends, they’re learning to communicate and collaborate. When kids play, they’re becoming big thinkers and building the foundation they need for school and for life.
