What to Keep In a First-Aid Kit
With children around, it’s important to keep a first-aid kit handy in case of an emergency. But what should go in it? Here are the essentials:
- Adhesive bandages & sterile gauze pads
- First-aid tape (to secure the gauze)
- Small scissors
- Thermometer
- Liquid acetaminophen
- Bottle of rehydrating solution
- Tweezers (for removing splinters)
- Over-the-counter hydrocortisone cream
