Celebrating with a Little People birthday party sounds like lots of fun!

We had a Little People birthday party for our daughter when she turned 1. We purchased the cutest Little People 1st party pack, which included a table centerpiece, party ware, and invitations. The party guests gave her the Little People zoo and train, which she loved and continued to play with regularly for the next two years.

My son recently turned two and is totally in love with anything ‘farm.’ For his birthday, I had ‘A Day at the Farm with Cooper’ party complete with farm animals and pony rides. While searching online for decorations, I found that most farm-themed party goods were either too Western/cowboy or more appropriate for a first birthday. Then one day I searched on ‘Little People Parties’ and there it all was … and not only was it Little People, but it was farm-themed too! To transform my home and yard into a farm, I sketched a scene of the Little People farm characters (it turned out beautiful!). The kids were greeted by Little People balloons and welcome signs, and were each given their own cowboy hat and red bandana so they could look just like Farmer Jed. They played in the petting zoo and each child rode a pony and had their picture taken … they were in farm heaven! Inside, the Little People decorations made my ‘barn house’ so cute and inviting for children and adults alike. When it was time for the animals to go home, the little farmers were gathered up for a country feast followed by the most amazing cake. Each child was thrilled to receive their very own goodie bag filled with fun toys and yummy snacks that we called ‘kid feed.’ Right down to the smallest detail, ‘A Day at the Farm with Cooper’ was a great success and Little People party accessories were a huge part of that wonderful day.

My children were born three years and five days apart (the first a boy, then our girl), so every year we have two birthday parties in one week. Last year, we decided to have one party for both and decided on the Little People theme because it's just so darn cute and good for either a boy or girl. Everyone commented on how cute the decorations were and how tired they were of princesses and movie- or TV show-themed parties. It was a huge success!
