Rock Painting

Materials

  • Rocks
  • Tempera or acrylic paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Small leaves

Instructions

  1. Collect rocks in a variety of shapes and sizes. Have your child paint the rocks.
  2. Have your child paint one side of a small leaf. Press the painted side onto a smooth rock. Repeat this process several times, using different leaves and colors if you like. When the paint is dry, use it as a paperweight.
