Leaf Print Note Cards

Materials

  • Paintbrush
  • Paints—for fun, use two or more colors
  • Fresh small leaves
  • Blank note cards
  • Clean scrap paper

Instructions

  1. Have your child brush an even coat of paint on the back of a leaf.
  2. Place the leaf, painted-side down, on the front of the note card.
  3. Place scrap paper on the leaf and rub it.
  4. Remove the paper and peel off the leaf to reveal the print.
  5. Repeat the process for each note card, using a different leaf or color of paint, if you like.
