Finally, the experts consider these results as part of the overall evaluation of the product. Unlike publications that rely exclusively on the judgment of kid-testers, these reviews take kid-tester's response to a product as one of the many factors to be considered, along with educational and play value, safety, age appropriateness, and other factors.

Adventure Publishing Group, Inc., publisher of leading toy industry trade magazine The Toy Book, has teamed with REDBOOK magazine for the publication of The Toy Insider, the source for the hottest toys and gifts for the holidays.

The Toy Insider is slated to run in the November issue of REDBOOK, which hits newsstands on October 15. An advertiser-supported special supplement, The Toy Insider offers expert-selected toy and gift recommendations by age categories, including 0-2 years old, 3-5 years old, 6-8 years old and 9 and older.
