For more than three decades Dr. Caldwell has been a passionate leader in the area of early child development. For several years she directed a free women's clinic in San Francisco, where she trained physicians and clinicians and supervised a quality assurance program so patients would receive the best care possible. In 1992, her good work was recognized by her colleagues; a peer-based survey published in San-Francisco Focus Magazine named her one of the best physicians in the Bay area.
Penny Warner has written over 30 books for parents and children, featuring ideas for parties, games, activities, snacks, and fun. Ms. Warner has a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's Degree in Special Education. She is currently teaching Child Development courses at Diablo Valley College in California, and has previously taught Special Education at Chabot College and Infant/Toddler Development at Ohlone College.
Dorothy Einon is the author of many books on child development and parenting. Her book, Learning Early, is the source of some child development material on the Fisher-Price web site. She is a lecturer in psychology at University College, London, with a particular interest in child development. She has researched the psychology of learning at Columbia University in New York and has studied and taught child development in different educational cultures from Japan to Canada. Dr Einon gives regular talks and workshops on the role of play in development; child development; and both the causes and ways of dealing with children's problems. She has written over 70 research papers and presentations, and over 200 articles for the popular press, and has taken part in numerous TV and radio broadcasts on child development.
