My 13–month-old son babbles but says no words except “mummy” and “Daddy.” I let him watch “Sesame Street” and other learning shows, which I watch with him. I spend a lot of time hugging, kissing and talking to him. But I work, so I can’t do as much as I like. Every night I play jazz or classical music while he sleeps. Is that too much stimulation? I’m concerned that he isn’t talking, and that he may be watching too much TV. If kids talk late, does that mean they will have problems when they start school?
