Getting ready for bed, our grandchildren are encouraged to say their prayers. Wade -- our little 3-year-old, folded his hands and began to earnestly pray and move around like a preacher and prayed for all family members. You could tell his prayers were heart-felt by his mannerisms. It was so cute, I could barely hold in my laughter. It seems Wade might become a preacher.

My almost 6-year-old granddaughter is either going to be a PR person or a performer. When I pick her up at school it takes a long time to leave the building. She is telling everyone "good-bye" and hugging them. She knows everyone's name -- children, teenagers or adults. She gives equal attention to everyone, no matter what role they play in her life or in school. Her favorite pasttime is acting in little plays with her grandfather. Last week they played Little Red Riding Hood. One day he was the Big Bad Wolf with the Broken Leg. Two days later he was the Big Bad Wolf with the Hat (the Cat in the Hat one). She talked so much about the pretend chocolate chip cookies she had in her basket that I had to make chocolate chip cookies for all of us to eat!
