I got to spend Christmas with my one and only granddaughter, Aubrey Claire, at the Nation's Capitol. We got to spend time with my Mom and Dad, her great nanny and pappy. It was Nanny's first trip to D.C. and Pappy had not been in 30 years. Great time had by all, Aubrey had her first Oreo, walked around with her Stride-to-Ride Lion. My 3 year old granddaughter is an only child. On December 1, 2009 her aunt had a baby boy. Whenever Kay-Lynn sees him she gives him lots of kisses and hugs. I asked her why she always gave him kisses and hugs, she replied in all seriousness, "I have to 'cause babies need lots of love from everyone and that is how I tell him I love him.
