I saw a really cute treat idea: you take a square pretzel, place a chocolate kiss on top, melt it in the oven and then place an M&M on top. So easy, I can't wait to try it with the two older grandsons who are 2½ and 1 year old.

Reindeer Treats – I used to make these with my kindergarten classes and now I will be making these fun treats with my grandchildren this year! You will need graham crackers, peanut butter, red and brown M&M's, and pretzels. Spread peanut butter over the square graham cracker and turn the cracker so it forms a diamond shape. Add the red M&M for the nose and the brown M&M's for the eyes; add the pretzels for the antlers. It is very simple but the kids loved making these.

My oldest granddaughter just got married. We are baking together before Thanksgiving. My 11-year-old and the two 10-year-olds are interested in learning to cook so we are finding simple recipes for desserts and snacks they can make. We also do crafts together and are making holiday cards. The 4-year-old crafts too, and we will be sending cards we make to the two grandchildren out of state.

The kids love grapes and strawberries and dip, so we dip them in melted chocolate... xoxo.
