Rated 2 out of 5 by No traction We've had this truck for a few years, but our son has barely been able to play with it due to the fact that it doesn't have any traction at all. We had a huge grass yard in PA, but the truck would only go a few feet before the wheels would lose traction and start spinning. He tried to drive it in our driveway, but again...no traction. Now, we live in NM with a sand yard and the truck doesn't even move. It now just sits on our back patio and hasn't been used in a couple years. I see now that the newer models of power wheels have rubber on the wheels for this problem, but there aren't any replacement wheels available to fix it on older trucks. I highly recommend you look to one of the other styles with the rubber on the wheels and avoid this one. April 11, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by NO TRACTION Seriously. The rear axle slips and there is no suspension. So as soon as this completely rigid ride looses traction at one of the rear wheels, you will go no where without a push. And that will happen with the slightest fluctuation in terrain. So unless you have a perfectly rolled lawn, driveway, or road to use it on it is a total loss! January 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it!! What a great purchase! It was super easy to assemble, and after the battery charged, my son was off and running. We took the screw out after one drive around to allow it to go faster and over more things. It went from pavement to grass to gravel without stopping. It even went over my raised flower beds. The radio works great, and can be quite loud. My husband has researched putting rubber tires on it for when we are out camping, and I have already ordered the quick charger. Overall I would highly recommend this truck. June 27, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awsome little truck Easy to set up, has a functioning radio, rides high so not to get caught up on sidewalks / curbs / grass / anything really. When you take the screw out and let your child drive in fast mode I have seen this thing climb easily over sidewalks alone without me having to push it. I love this truck, if I was 3-10 again... I would never stop driving it. Speaking of which, the battery life is amazing! I would buy the quick charger though... because the stock charger is not a good one (has no light indicator telling you if its charged... or anything, plus takes forever to charge *12-24 hrs*) Best gift for any child of suitable age!
