Little People® Splash ’n Scoop Bath Bar

Age: 1-4 years
  • Approx. Retail Price: $15.00

    Product: W9950

What a great way to pour on the fun! The roof of the hut is a strainer, Eddie’s innertube is a scoop, the dolphin squirts, the monkey spins—there’s even a waterfall when you pour water through the sandcastle! And once kids see the slide, they’ll never want to get out of the tub! (But when they do, everything stores right on the bath bar until next time!)

Rated 2 out of 5 by Not terrible, but not special We've got an "insert bathtub" with a curved back wall, so the product is precariously suction-cupped to the wall, but it doesn't budge, so that's good. The slide isn't really a slide. The figures don't fit through the slide opening, nor does anything stay on it on the way down. We tend to use other toys on there that barely fit or slide themselves. The squeeze toys work fine and using the hut top for a strainer seems to be the most common activity. The monkey spinner doesn't spin well even if a strong current of water is being poured directly onto the wheels let alone through the "palm tree". The "tube" also barely holds the figure upright in the water and the tiniest wave produced by any movement is enough to knock him over. This isn't a toy I would remove, but I wouldn't purchase this for a friend's child now that we see what it is. It's still in our tub, but it's not the center of bathtime activity at all. Rated 5 out of 5 by LOVE it I love this product, the tree top is a strainer for challenged users.... I have played with these products for 40 plus years.... I highly endorse this for the bathtub it sticks to the tub just fine, and the only draw back was our dog ate the gender specific people, and we need a replacement December 31, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Fun bath toy My mum bought this toy for my 16 month old daughter. I read the reviews and was worried that she wouldn't like it but put it in the bath anyway. She loves it! The opening at the top of the slide isn't big enough for Eddie to slide from the very top but he does fine down the rest of it. There are lots of places to pour water and my daughter enjoys watching the water spin the monkey and spinning it herself. The issues other people have with this toy don't seem to be a problem for her. She really likes it anyway. December 26, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Sadly, I think I will need to return this This toy, as others have said, looks so cute. I couldn't wait to get it home and let my baby boy play with it. Since the suction cups stay suctioned to the wall....I didn't have a problem with it falling off like I anticipated might be a problem, but instead of fsllin off...it just keeps sliding all the way down the tub wall. Then....to cap it off....as others have said, the monkey barely spins...in frequency or duration. The little person Eddie...who doesn't look like a little boy, but more like a little girl in a dress named Edie (not that it matters in any way....just strange gender assignment given the character's appearance) does NOT fit through the opening for the slide, nor does the dolphin. And lastly....just like others have said....the tree top & hut roof will not stay put and the ring is hard to attach to the peg on the side. Not worth $15.....really, not even worth $5 just to look cute. I love Fisher Price, but this toy is really just not good. I will be returning & looking for another bath bar that is functional & fun for my sweet little man. June 8, 2014
