Pin-Worthy Baby Keepsakes to Buy or DIY

Baby keepsakes make for cute decor, but more importantly, someday they'll serve as precious memories that will help you recall your first months as a parent. Just take a look at some of my favorite creative keepsakes that utilize those tiny hands and feet that you can't help staring at.

From day one, my child touched my heart, which is why I love handprint handcrafted pendants. Wearing a sweet reminder of my baby’s handprint on a necklace reminds me of how precious his life is to me. As he gets older, this keepsake has become even more special.

If you love doing DIY crafts that are "pin-worthy" as much as I do, here's a beautiful one to try out for your beach baby -- a framed sand footprint. I did this with my kids and absolutely loved it. And luckily, the step-by-step instructions provide lots of detail.

One more cool idea to try with the whole family is creating a compilation of everyone's thumbprints. It's simple and clever. Hang it in your family room, or even do a cute version for next year's holiday card. Rudolph made out of baby hands anyone?

The next time you play with your infant's toes or feel your heart melt when he grasps your finger and won't let go, try not to blink because it all goes by so fast. With a little help from items like those above, you'll enjoy thinking back to those days and cherish the memories forever. I know I do!
