My daughter is 14 months old and still doesn't have any teeth. Is this normal and if it's not, what could be the problem?
A:
The normal age for the first tooth to erupt is 6 months. That doesn't mean you need to worry about your daughter —the average age given is simply an estimate. Some children get their teeth early, some later. Your daughter is on the later side, but I would have a dentist exam her just to be sure everything's okay.
