When do teeth erupt?
By Gregory F. George
Teeth normally erupt at 6 months of age. This is an average, which means some children will be earlier and some will be later, but they still fall into a normal category. At 10-12 months of age, it would be normal to see four to eight teeth in the mouth and not be concerned. I have seen children at 12 months with no teeth yet, and also a child with all 20 baby teeth at 12 months. It sounds like everything is fine with your child.
