Q:
My 4½-year-old daughter likes to roam the house at night after she wakes to go to the bathroom. I limit her fluids before bed, but sometimes she still has to go. She uses a potty chair in her room. My husband doesn't think we should lock the door, but I do. Please help us!
A:
Instead of locking the door, why don't you rely on a gate? This would keep her in her room without forcing you to lock the door.
