Let the kids make their own puppets, then put on a puppet show!

Materials

  • Paper lunch bags or garden gloves
  • Felt pens
  • Yarn, pompoms, ribbon, and other items to use as decorations (optional)
  • Non-toxic glue or glue gun
  • Child's blunt-tip safety scissors

Instructions

  • Give each child a plain paper bag or garden glove.
  • Set out felt pens and decorative items, along with glue and scissors.
  • Let the kids draw faces on their bags or gloves.
  • Have them glue on decorative items, if they like. (Adults use a glue gun to secure them, if desired.)
  • Put on a puppet show!
